• Andy's trying to wrap his head around exactly what Michael Vick's lawyers are thinking. How can they say Vick didn't gamble on dogfighting? This is obvious posturing to be in Roger Goodell's favor, but Andy is convinced Vick will be handed a lifetime ban from the league when all is said and done.
• Tim Kurkjian says Greg Maddux's accomplishment of 10 wins in 20 consecutive seasons is truly amazing. Timmy points out that even a workhorse like Cy Young couldn't do that. More news and notes from around the diamond and who Timmy thinks will be in and out of this year's postseason.
